Google acquired Fabric, which develops application tools, from Twitter.

The Fabric platform is changing hands. Google announced that it has acquired Fabric to provide better quality service to its users.

Fabric, which Twitter launched in 2014, aimed to create better mobile applications for application developers. However, due to the uncertainties it experienced recently, it decided to focus on core services. Thus, Fabric's importance was reduced and Twitter finally decided to discontinue this service. Google did not disclose how much he paid for the purchase.
